Vijay Deenanath Chauhan

Vijay Deenanath Chauhan (Hindi: विजय दीनानाथ चव्हाण) is a fictional character and the protagonist from the film Agneepath released in 1990, portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan.In the film Vijay is a crime boss who undergoes a journey to avenge his father's murder by a powerful ganglord Kancha Cheena. The main plot of the movie revolves around how an innocent boy (Vijay) becomes the most powerful gangster of the city (Bombay) and eventually resurrects his father's respect and annihilates mafia Kingpin Kancha. The character was later portrayed by Hrithik Roshan in 2012 remake.
